What Site Prep Is Needed Before Building An MQS Pole Building in Montana?

  • If you are providing your own concrete, dirt, or other pad, you must provide us with a level building site of approximately two feet larger than your building’s specs on all sides.
  • Site prep should include the site being sloped off around the perimeter to ensure that water drains away from the site.
  • Final cosmetic leveling and grading may be needed after the completion of your building.

Site excavation for your building may be available through MQS, depending on your location. If unavailable, we will work with you to find the best solution possible for you in your area.

Our standard building packages come with an unfinished interior, providing a clean starting point to customize your space as needed. Additionally, you can individually select finishing options, providing flexibility in crafting a high-quality space while staying within your budget.
Common finishing out options for our residential pole buildings include installing a concrete floor (before or after construction), full fiberglass insulation, Therma-Guard as a vapor/moisture barrier, and finishing interior walls with steel panels. Explore some of our customizable options.
Additional options, such as the ability for interior framing and insulation types, which may include spray foam or blown-in insulation vary by region. Currently, electrical work is not included in our finishing options and should be arranged separately.
