What Customers Say About Working With MQS

Kurt & Melissa

We recently had MQS build a large equine barn for us, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the initial planning phase in the office to the final day of construction, everything went smoothly and efficiently. The project was completed in just 10 business days, which was incredibly impressive given the size and scope of the barn.

The team at MQS demonstrated outstanding work ethic, professionalism, and craftsmanship. They were friendly, helpful, and clearly dedicated to delivering high-quality results. The finished product speaks for itself—the barn is not only functional but beautifully constructed.

I cannot recommend Michael Yoder with MQS highly enough and look forward to working with them again on future projects.

My new horse barn is beautiful! MQS makes the design process easy, and the renderings provided helped me visualize the final product. There was good, prompt communication with my salesman throughout the process. My building crew was polite and professional. The final result is the perfect addition to my property.

Christie A

Very happy with MQS. Professional and helpful sales rep and the crew was great. Our 3 sided horse trailer shed was up in about 16 hours. Good selection of metal siding colors too!

Jaclyn S

I cannot express my gratitude for this company and the entire process from start to finish. I have been dreaming of building my barn for over 15 years - and MQS finally made my dream come true. I had reached out to over 5 shop contractors in my area to interview. Only 3 returned my inquiry.
Steven Palmer was our salesman and he never once made my questions feel silly. His communication was top tier and he was prompt in returning calls/emails. He put together multiple scenarios and drawings and customized our build to our budget. Once we were ready to pull the trigger, Steven helped us through the permitting process with the county. Once we finally had permits, the Yoder & sons company did the actual build. They were prompt, kind, respectful and clean. I would choose this company every time for a build. You won't be disappointed!

I had MQS build my 40'x60' shop last year. They did and amazing job and built it lightning fast. The quality and workmanship is all there. Recently I had a dump truck driver accidentally run into the shop and do some damage to the soffit. I called Steven at MQS and he was able to get a crew out here to make it look like new. The crew was very professional and efficient with their time as well. I highly recommend this company to handle any post/frame builds as I have worked with multiple contractors and builders over the years and these guys are definitely in my top 3. I also found out they are a solid Christian company making it a bonus to support them and their integrity!

Frequently Asked Questions

What Kind Of Warranties Come With An Equestrian Building From MQS?

Each building from MQS comes with a one-year workmanship warranty. This covers problems that could occur with the building’s construction. If issues with a building occur within the first year, we will gladly come out and fix them as soon as possible. Typically, most repairs take 2 to 3 weeks, depending on whether or not replacement parts need to be ordered and their availability.

We take pride in the quality of how our buildings are built, so if something does happen with your MQS building even after one year, please give us a call. We will assess your situation and work with you to find the best solution possible.

We build all our Equestrian Buildings with the highest-quality materials, most of which come with their own manufacturer’s warranty. For example, our garage doors, metal roofing and siding panels, and posts highlight warranties of 10, 40, and 50 years, respectively. To find the specifics of our product warranties, please visit our building process page, our warranties page, or give us a call!

What Is The Typical Start-To-Finish Time On An Equestrian building From MQS?

The entire process from initial contract agreement to finished construction of your custom Equestrian post-frame building can be as little as 4-6 weeks.

Completion times will vary based on seasonal and local demand, if custom parts (such as special Dutch or steel insulated garage doors, cupolas with weathervanes) need to be specially ordered, if there are delays in obtaining needed permits, or if site prep is not completed by the scheduled start date.

If you have any questions about the process for your build, please give us a call!

What Site Prep Is Needed Before Building An MQS Post-Frame Equestrian Building?

  • If you are providing your own concrete, dirt, or other pad, you must provide us with a level building site of approximately two feet larger than your building’s specs on all sides.
  • Site prep should include the site being sloped off around the perimeter to ensure that water drains away from the site.
  • Final cosmetic leveling and grading may be needed after the completion of your building.

Site excavation for your building may be available through MQS, depending on your location. If unavailable, we will work with you to find the best solution possible for you in your area.
If you have any questions about this process, please give us a call.

Does MQS Offer Any Financing?

At this time, we do not offer any financing options on our post-frame buildings. We have a longstanding business relationship with First Interstate Bank, which may help you get better rates. Please mention to your loan officer that your financing is for an MQS Building. If you have any other questions, please give us a call.
